Short answer: you're looking at it. The free website report and the chat assistant on this site are the same kind of AI systems we build for clients, running live, every day. You don't have to take our word for any of this. Every section below ends with a way to check it yourself.
1. The free website report: four agents and a quality gate
When you enter a web address on the free website report, four agents work in sequence:
- Site analyst. Reads your public pages and works out where a visitor who wanted to get in touch is likely to give up.
- Industry researcher. Works out your sector from your own copy and looks at what comparable businesses do differently.
- Report writer, with a quality gate. Writes the report, then checks it for specificity before it's allowed out. A generic report is worse than none, so if it fails the check it is rewritten once under stricter rules.
- Lead handler. Sends you the report as a PDF, saves the enquiry, and tells Peter. Each step is guarded on its own, so a failed notification never loses the record.
Check it: run it on your own site. It takes about two minutes and you watch each stage happen.
2. The chat assistant: qualifies, books, alerts
The assistant in the corner of every page does more than answer questions:
- Knows the offer. Services, prices and what each page covers, and it's told never to invent case studies, results, prices or timelines.
- Qualifies enquiries. Each conversation is scored across seven signals: pain point, service interest, pricing, timeline, role, booking intent and contact details. At three or more, the conversation is marked as qualified.
- Books calls. The assistant reads Peter's real availability and offers actual discovery-call slots, not a generic link.
- Alerts a person. When someone shares an email or looks serious, Peter gets an email with the context. The follow-up is human.
- Recognises returning visitors. Returning visitors are picked up with what the assistant already knows, such as the pages they've seen.
- Rate-limited. The chat assistant accepts ten messages a minute per visitor, so nobody can use it to run up Ishigai's AI bill.
Check it: open the chat and ask what an AI Security Audit costs, or when Peter is free for a call.
If we wouldn't run it on our own business, we won't sell it to yours.
3. How the site itself is run
- Prices are the same everywhere. The pages, the structured data search engines read, and the chat assistant all quote the same figures.
- Built to be read by machines. Every page on ishigai.io carries schema.org structured data, and we chose crawler by crawler who gets in, using the robots.txt standard (RFC 9309). The AI assistants people use to find suppliers can read the site; bulk scrapers we have no reason to feed are blocked.
- Locked down. The server hands out public pages and nothing else. Anything that isn't meant to be public returns a 404.
- Everything is logged. Enquiries, reports and qualified conversations are stored, so nothing depends on someone remembering.
4. What broke, and what we changed
Systems that run every day break, and the honest test is what happens next. Early on, our AI provider's credit ran out and three report runs failed silently before anyone noticed. Nobody got an error. Those visitors just didn't get a report.
So now a second model takes over automatically when the first one fails. The agents run on Anthropic's Claude models, so the backup is a smaller Claude model. It writes a visibly weaker report, and we'd rather that than nothing. Degrading is better than dying. That's the same thinking that goes into every client build: assume something will fail, and decide in advance what happens when it does.
What this means for your business
The pattern on this site is the pattern we build for clients: enquiries captured and qualified automatically, a person alerted when it matters, nothing lost when something fails, and a human making the decisions that count. Most of it starts as a 30-day pilot from £2,500, usually after the £750 audit, which is credited against the pilot if you start within 60 days.
Frequently asked questions
Does Ishigai use its own AI systems?
Yes. The free website report on ishigai.io runs on four AI agents with a quality check before anything is sent, and the chat assistant qualifies enquiries, offers live booking slots and alerts Peter when someone is serious. Both are running now and anyone can try them.
What happens if the AI provider goes down?
The report pipeline switches to a backup model automatically. It writes a weaker report, but the visitor still gets one, and the lead is saved either way.
Does the chat assistant make things up?
The chat assistant is instructed never to invent case studies, client names, results, prices or timelines, and to point people to a discovery call when it doesn't know. Prices the assistant quotes are the same ones published on the site.
Can you build the same thing for my business?
Yes. The systems on ishigai.io are the same kinds of systems we build for clients: a lead pipeline, a qualifying assistant, alerts and monitoring. Most start as a 30-day pilot from £2,500, usually after a £750 audit that is credited against it.
